School delights audience

WHEN DAVID Higginbottom arrived at St Julian’s with the idea of creating a full orchestra at the St. Julian’s School, many doubted this would be possible.

A couple of years later, his idea has taken fruition and all thanks to David’s hard work as well as that of a number of teachers. The Resident’s Bob Hughes was invited along to hear the first combined concert by the school’s orchestra and choir. Under the direction of Jackie Correia, the school’s head of music, the audience enjoyed a number of pieces of music, and the standing ovation was well deserved.
