A Carol Concert took place on December 11 at Lagoa church performed by students of the International School of the Algarve in Porches.
The 150-strong school choir, which was made up of students from both the national and international sections of the school, sang carols from around the world and was supported by Lagoa Chamber Choir Ideias do Levante. The weekly music lessons had been scheduled in order to allow students from both schools to rehearse together in the run up to the concert.
The school thanked Padre José Nunes for allowing it to use the church for the concert.
The school’s next event is the opera Christmas is… which will be performed on January 9 and 10 at the Lagoa Auditorium.
