Marking the beginning of a new school year, the São Brás de Alportel municipality has created book banks throughout the town.
The initiative aims to collect and share educational textbooks, free of charge, within the community; helping struggling families to cut back on schooling costs.
Books of all types can be dropped off at any of the following ‘banks’:
• Escola EB 2 3 Poeta Bernardo de Passos
• Câmara Municipal
• Loja Social (Avenida da Liberdade)
• Farmácia Dias Neves
