Vale Formoso opens the doors of its traditional fete this Saturday. The five-day event includes regional products, musical acts, and fair rides.
The traditional Feira de São Francisco takes place from October 1 to 5, at the Fair and Exhibition Park, in Vale Formoso (Tavira).
During the five days of the event, there will be no shortage of typical craft tents, regional products, stall offering local delicacies, carousels and lots of entertainment.
The fair opens at 13:00 at the weekend and on October 5 (bank holiday), and at 18:00 on weekdays. The doors close at 01:00 on weekdays and 02:00 on Saturday and Tuesday (bank holiday eve).
The municipality stated that the ‘Sobe e Desce” urban transport system would guarantee transport to the fairgrounds. Visitors can board and disembark at the following stations: Bus station, Municipal Fire Department roundabout, Largo de Santo Amaro (CP Station), Atalaia, Ponte dos Descobrimentos, Balsense Roundabout – Avenida Dr. Eduardo Mansinho, Rua da Cruz Vermelha (Mato de Santo Espírito), Fair and Exhibition Park.
