The ERSAR has just revealed that São Brás de Alportel will once again receive the « Exemplary Quality of Water for Human Consumption Seal».

The municipality of São Brás de Alportel was once again distinguished this year by the Water and Waste Services Regulatory Entity (ERSAR) with the 2023 «Exemplary Quality of Water for Human Consumption Seal».

According to the Municipal Council of São Brás de Alportel, “this prestigious seal also recognises the investment and the committed and demanding work carried out to ensure the best quality of the water distributed in the municipality”.

This quality seal is awarded to management entities with the highest water quality in 2022, following a thoroughevaluation process conducted by ERSAR, including quantitative and qualitative criteria, governance, compliance with legal obligations, and conduct before the regulator.

Notably, this distinction was given to 89 of Portugal’s 227 public water supply management entities.

In this sense, the São Brás de Alportel municipality will receive the « Exemplary Quality of Water for Human Consumption Seal» on November 27 at the National Meeting of Water and Sanitation Management Entities – ENEG 2023 in Gondomar.
