Museu do Trajo in São Brás de Alportel has one of the fastest growing ‘Amigos’ groups in Portugal. On Wednesday, November 23, from 4pm to 7pm, the ‘Amigos’ committee will meet, greet and hear about the needs of current members and potential new ones.
It will be an interactive afternoon where informal discussions will focus on improving the current offer, suggestions for introducing new activities and giving the public any information they might need before joining the ‘Amigos’.
So far, activities on offer are encyclopedic. To name a few, there is an Acting group, a Bridge club, Ceramics and a Choir, Portuguese lessons, Photography, Sewing, Yoga and Zumba.
The committee now wants to include new activities. At a cost of €18 per annum, ‘Amigos’ also benefit from discounted services provided by commercial organisations that will attend the ‘Open Door’ afternoon.
