Families living in São Brás de Alportel will only have to pay the minimum rates of the municipal property tax (IMI), the local council has announced.
The proposal was approved on Tuesday (September 22) and will see the IMI tax lowered “10% for families with one child, 15% for families with two and 20% for three”.
The council hopes the measure will “benefit hundreds of local families and improve their household budgets”.
