SÃO BRÁS de Alportel hosted its annual Hallelujah Procession on Easter Sunday, forming part of the Festival of the Flower Torches, one of Portugal’s oldest religious celebrations.
Locals worked through the night to create a carpet of flowers that stretched for over a kilometre and hundreds descended on the town to see the spectacle.
