Forum Algarve in Faro will celebrate the start of its Christmas entertainment programme with the arrival of Santa Claus on Saturday (November 11) at 11am.
Santa will be leading a Christmas parade alongside Mrs. Claus, his elves and many other colourful characters, while at the same time the shopping centre’s iconic ice rink will be inaugurated.
The ice rink will be open to visitors for €4 per person, plus €1 for the rental of the skating equipment. There are also family tickets starting at €16.
Last but not least, the doors to Forum Algarve’s Christmas Village will also open on Saturday morning, promising a fun experience for children of all ages. Visitors will be able to take photos with Santa, hand him their Christmas letters, ride a carousel (for free) and receive the 17th edition of ‘Livro do Gui’ (Gui’s Book), which is released every year to raise awareness about a different topic each time – this year the theme is healthy eating.
“The Christmas programme reflects the strong connection we have with the community, and with families in particular. The arrival of Santa Claus and the opening of the ice rink are eagerly anticipated moments for both younger and older visitors, which mark the arrival of Christmas to Forum Algarve,” said the shopping centre’s manager, Sérgio Santos.
