Santa delights from Iceland

Collection || The Iceland store in Guia staged a food collection drive in the run up to Christmas to support Algarve children’s charity ACCA.
The result? Two huge boxes of essentials were gathered together by Iceland customers along with donations that topped the €100 mark and gifts for children.
ACCA president Wanda Crawford was delighted with the response to the appeal: “The community in the Algarve never fails to amaze me. The generosity shown, especially at a time when there are so many calls for help, is wonderful.”
The foodstuffs and presents were then taken to “Akredita”, a Quarteira-based organisation, for distribution among poverty-stricken families.
