Santa Claus is taking some time off his busy schedule to be part of the Christmas celebrations at Mar Shopping Algarve this Saturday (November 16).
He will be arriving on a train at 6pm, alongside Sara Carreira, the daughter of Portugal’s heartthrob singer Tony Carreira.
Sara will be performing some festive songs while Santa will be meeting the scores of children who will be eagerly awaiting him.
But there will be much more to enjoy at Mar Shopping during the festive season as the shopping centre is organising several fun-filled activities.
These include creative workshops on how to make reindeer ornaments (November 16-29), Christmas calendars (November 30), wreaths (December 1-8), gingerbread ornaments (December 9-15), gingerbread decorations (December 16-22), gingerbread houses (December 23-29) and New Year’s candles (December 30-January 6).
Loulé children’s choir is also set to perform on November 17 and 22 and December 1, 8, 15 and 22, at 5pm. On Saturdays between November 23 and December 31, Mar Shopping will also host several theatre shows for children.
Children will also be able to give Santa their lists for this year, take part in interactive games, explore a gingerbread Christmas village and even ride the Christmas.
