Fiesa’s international sand sculpture festival is due to open today (Friday), with a private evening party before fully opening to the public tomorrow (Saturday) from 10am.
Human discoveries, ranging from the creation of fire to robotics, with everything in between, is the theme for this year’s internationally renowned Fiesa sand sculpture festival.
Visitors to the festival will take a journey back in time, with sculptures of human discoveries from the 21st century being at the beginning, going back through the discovery of time, music, writing, photography, dinosaurs and much more.
The sand sculpture park, in Pêra, will be open daily between 10am and midnight. Tickets cost eight euros for adults and 4.50 euros for children between the ages of six to 12, with children under five entering for free. There are also discounted rates for people over the age of 65 and groups.
