A €1 million investment on a conduit which will keep sewage away from Lagoa dos Salgados has been announced by Águas do Algarve.
They said that the conduit will significantly improve the management of waste water in the region. The effluent from the Marina and Galé areas will be directed towards the ETAR sewage treatment centre in Albufeira Poente. The investment is part of the requalification work that has been taking place at the Salgados lagoon by Águas do Algarve and the Portuguese Environmental Agency.
