Sales “prohibited between December 25 – January 9

Portugal’s latest measures designed to combat the spread of the Omicron variant mean that Boxing Day sales are prohibited until after January 9. The government’s focus on encouraging people to ‘live small’ for the next two weeks will come up for further evaluation on January 5. In line with policy last year, anyone wishing to exchange a Christmas gift, will have until January 31 to do so.
