Sale of the century

If you have ever wanted to own a portrait of Michael Jackson posing as a European King or a pair of socks covered in crystals, then a bizarre auction of possessions once owned by Michael Jackson is the place to be this April.

More than 2,000 items from the Neverland ranch will be on sale at a four day public auction to be held at the Beverly Hills hotel in Los Angeles.

Fans from around the globe are expected at the auction and there will be a chance to view a selection of items as they are sent on a world wide exhibition tour including stops in Dublin and London in March.

Auctioneers who assessed the items were said to be amazed at the sheer volume of items made from gold, bronze and marble.
