Portugal’s most popular birdwatching event, the Sagres Birdwatching Festival, will return to the western Algarve between October 1 and 4, organisers have confirmed.
The event, which contributed to Vila do Bispo being named ‘Municipality of the Year’ in 2015, gives visitors the opportunity to see a large number of migratory birds soaring through the Sagres sky.
The Sagres Birdwatching Festival is organised by the local council and the Portuguese Society for the Study of Birds (SPEA).
