Sagres birds

Giving birdwatchers plenty of notice, organisers of the Sagres Birdwatching Festival have announced that the event is this year taking place from October 4 to 8. The five-day festival will include a vast programme of activities, while also allowing for the observation of migratory species that cross the skies of Sagres. “We are preparing to host the best event ever,” say organisers. The ‘bird of the year’ is the Northern wheatear.
