Divers and nature lovers are being asked to take part in a beach clean-up in the harbour and on the beach of Praia da Baleeira, near Sagres, on September 18.
Volunteers are asked to meet at the dive centre at 9am, where equipment for divers will be allocated to those who do not have their own.
Those who do not have diving experience can also take part in the project by helping to clean up the land area in and around the beach and harbour.
After the cleaning, there will be food and drinks available for all participants.
