A road safety awareness campaign is being promoted by the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve in Algarve schools.
The aim is to alert youngsters to the dangers of driving and advise them on the behaviour to adopt.
Miguel Praia, who rides for the Parkalgar Honda team and is participating in the campaign, said: “As a professional rider, I have a duty to advise the younger generation on the prevention of accidents. Speeding is for the racetracks. The road should be driven on with caution.”
