Safe Communities Portugal is organising a lunch at the Quinta do Moinho restaurant in Loulé on Wednesday, November 30 at 1pm.
“As we are entering the winter period, Safe Communities Portugal is looking at many opportunities for face to face gatherings so you can learn more about our work, how we help communities as well as for fundraising, in order for our volunteer organisation to be able to carry out its many activities, develop more and to get to meet as many of you as we can over the next few months,” the organisation says.
Mr Clive Jewell, Vice Consul at the British Consular Office in Portimão, has been confirmed as the guest speaker and will provide “an insight into his role here in the Algarve on behalf of the UK Government.”
David Thomas, President of SCP, will speak on the many different types of work and projects the organisation is involved in and how as a volunteer organisation it helps many people across Portugal.
To register, send an email to [email protected] with your full name and the names of anyone attending with you, your telephone number and your email address by Friday, November 25 at 4pm.
“We will collect the cost of Lunch at the door on the day so please bring cash only,” SCP says.
