Sade is to release their brand new album in 2010 which would be their first release into the charts in a decade.
Soldier of Love will be the follow up to their last release in 2000, Lovers Rock.
The band, fronted by 50-year-old Sade Adu, have only released six albums in their career that spans 25 years but have sold more than 50 million albums worldwide since the release of their first album, Diamond Life, in 1984.
Sade, who are also made up of bandmates Paul Spencer Denmann, Stuart Matthewman and Andrew Hale, are best known for their hits Smooth Operator and Your Love is King.
Soldier of Love will be released on February 8, 2010.
