Irish low-cost airline Ryanair is hiring cabin crew and will be travelling to Portugal at the end of the month for three recruitment days in Porto (September 29), Lisbon (September 30) and Ponta Delgada, Azores (October 2).
Applicants must be over 18 and can sign up for the recruitment days online at the Crewlink and Dalmac websites, where they will be asked to fill in a small form with questions such as “Are you between 5’2 (1.57m) and 6’2 (1.88m)”, “Are you friendly and outgoing with a lively personality” and “Do you have (or can you apply for) an EU passport”.
Job seekers must also be fluent in English and have completed secondary school.
Some of the candidates will then be called to the recruitment days, where they will be subject to an interview and an English exam.
Those that are hired can expect a three-year contract after their training period, as well as monthly salaries ranging between £1,000 and £1,200 (€1,360 and €1,633).
