CEO of Ryanair Michael O’Leary has said that the Irish low-cost airline is interested in flying to the Azores and Madeira archipelagos, but that its plans have flown into a virtual Bermuda Triangle.
“We don’t really know what is going on,” he told a press conference in Lisbon. “Azores Airport said our prices are too low and SATA would collapse.”
There has been no news from the government or Lisbon airport, either, he said.
