Irish low-cost airline Ryanair is returning to Portugal on Monday (October 3) to hire “hundreds” of new flight attendants.
Five recruitment days have been announced: two in Lisbon (October 3 and October 14), and one in Porto (October 21), Ponta Delgada, Azores (October 28) and Funchal, Madeira (November 4).
“We have recruited countless people in Portugal. The calibre of candidates in Portugal is one of the highest in all of Europe,” recruitment company Crewlink said in a statement cited by notíciasaominuto website.
Ryanair offers three-year contracts, as well as a “list of benefits” including a €1,200 bonus for new employees, three days off for every day of work and big discounts on Ryanair flights, the website adds.

The recruitment campaign follows a big announcement by flamboyant Ryanair boss Michael O’Leary, who said last week that he has a short-term plan for “Ryanair to overcome TAP” as Portugal’s main airline.” (click here).
The airline also unveiled 13 new flights to be launched in Portugal next summer – eight in Faro and five in Lisbon.
