Irish low-cost airline Ryanair is back in Portugal to hire 300 flight attendants in the next two weeks.
Recruitment days will be held in Porto (today), in Lisbon next Friday (December 4) and in Porto again a week later (December 11). Other recruitment initiatives are expected up until April 2016.
Says Diário Económico, “new routes, a new base in Porto, more airplanes and a rising number of services and passengers” is forcing Ryanair to increase staff.
The airline has already hired 250 people in Portugal this year.
Applicants must be over 18 and can sign up for recruitment events online at the Crewlink.ie, where they will be asked to fill in a small form with questions such as “Are you between 5’2 (1.57m) and 6’2 (1.88m)”, “Are you friendly and outgoing with a lively personality” and “Do you have (or can you apply for) an EU passport”.
Job seekers must also be fluent in English and have completed secondary school.
Those hired can expect a three-year contract after training, as well as monthly salaries from €1,000 to €1,400.
