Ryanair hostess exposes outbreak of Covid-19 at Porto base

Portuguese media today is reporting on an alleged air hostess, employed by Ryanair, complaining that there is an outbreak of Covid-19 among coworkers at the airline’s Porto base, and that employers have not been testing staff adequately. The woman “who doesn’t want to be identified for fear of reprisals” has also denounced the breaking of compulsory isolation by colleagues, who she claims ‘went out for four hours on Sunday when they shouldn’t have’. The story refers to a hostess found to be infected with the virus on a day when “we had been in touch with 689 passengers”… Ryanair is currently in a heated legal battle over the Portuguese government’s decision to plough billions of euros into TAP (click here).
