As from May 20 all new passengers, including babies, of Ryanair will only be able to check in for their flights online via the Ryanair website.
The move comes as the Irish airline also announced that by October 1 of this year all check in desks at the 146 airports used by the low cost airline will be disbanded.
By removing airport check in passengers will be charged five instead of ten euros for completing the process.
Those failing to book in before arriving at the airport and producing a printout of their boarding pass will face a 40 euro charge.
