A collection of paintings by the Russian artist Svetlana Kurmaz will be on show at the Corte-Real gallery in Paderne.
Svetlana Kurmaz has been a full time artist since 1992 and began her professional career in Moscow exhibiting her paintings at M’ARS Gallery and the Central House of Artists.
Over the past three years, her paintings have been sold at art fairs and galleries across the world including in Paris, New York, Geneva, Berlin and in Dublin where her paintings were included in an auction of contemporary Russian art supported by Christie’s.
The paintings by Svetlana Kurmaz can be seen alongside the works of more than 30 international artists and artisans at the Corte-Real gallery.
This weekend (Saturday and Sunday) there will be a special exhibition at the gallery including paintings by Ernesto Mei, Rachel Ramirez, Isabelle Zutter and Svetlan Kurmaz with wine tasting from the Barranco Longo vineyard and savouries created by Jonnie Pratt of Bistro
des Z´Artes.
The Corte-Real gallery is open from Thursday to Sunday between 11am and 5pm.
