Russia organises repatriation flights from Madeira and Bulgaria for citizens ‘stuck in Europe’

Travel giant Tui is being tasked with organising flights out of Madeira and Sofia (Bulgaria) to get Russian tourists stranded in Europe back home, Tass news agency has reported. The Russian State media organisation says the flights should be leaving Bulgaria on Friday (March 4), and Madeira on Monday (March 7). It is not known how many Russian tourists have been caught out by the European-wide ban of Russian flights as a result of the country’s military bombardment of Ukraine.
