Rurally contemporary

An initiative promoted by São Brás Câmara to “bridge” the past with the contemporary present will allow visitors to see how raw materials are transformed through traditional methods to become a contemporary product.

A typical old Algarvian house with stables and manger has been restored, keeping its traditional features and turned into an artistic installation with modern features.

The new facility has been incorporated into the Centro de apoio à comunidade (community support centre) situated on Rua Serpa Pinto, nº 27/29.

The exhibition is free and is open from Monday to Friday from 9am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 5.30pm.
