The Third Annual Health Run, organised by Barringtons and the Family Medical Centres at Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago, will take place on Sunday May 2.
Runners can choose between a five or 10km route through the beautiful Ria Formosa nature reserve, which can be completed at any speed you wish. Adults, children, babies in buggies and even pets are more than welcome to join this event, which is the perfect way to feel healthy in the Algarve.
The emphasis is on fun and feeling good rather than record breaking although you’re sure to find someone to race against if you wish. Entrants will receive a special race T-shirt and water bottle. All funds raised go towards the ACCA, the Algarve’s children’s charity.
