Dear Editor,
I am becoming increasingly depressed and angry about the many half-built and abandoned construction projects that are now seriously disfiguring Albufeira.
How can those responsible at local, regional and national level have allowed things to get so bad?
The first-time visitor will surely be appalled at what they see.
I took a few pictures in the area of the Albufeira Marina just as an example.
Builder’s rubble left dumped everywhere, construction materials left where they stand, half-built structures where work has long since stopped, vandalised portable site offices, ruined land etc and this is just one small area of one town.
Does anyone care?
