A number of British, Irish and Portuguese rugby teams will be facing off against each other at the 29th International Rugby Tournament of the Algarve, which will be held in Loulé on May 16. The matches will begin at midday at the municipal park’s Campo Nº3.
The tournament will feature 300 players from eight teams, including Aylesbury RFC, Buccaneers RFC, Buckingham Rugby Club, Pinley Rugby Club, Sinners RFC, Agronomia Rugby, Rugby Clube da Lousã and Rugby Clube de Loulé.
Organised by the Rugby Clube de Loulé with the support of the local council and the Portuguese Rugby Federation, this is one of the many events going ahead this year to celebrate Loulé’s distinction as “European City of Sport”.
