A Swiss man is thanking his lucky stars after leaving a rucksack on the Metro containing €4,600 in cash.
The rucksack was spied by another passenger at 6.30pm on Sunday, and handed in to Lost & Found at Reboleira station, reports noticiasaominuto.
PSP agents on duty opened the rucksack to see if it contained any personal papers and found, along with an envelope containing the cash, a cellphone “which allowed them to get in touch with the owner”.
The “lucky man” is described as 68-years-old and resident in Lisbon.
