An exhibition of art pieces created using rubbish collected from beach clean-ups in Faro and Olhão is on display at the headquarters of Portimão’s municipal water company EMARP until May 26.
Entitled ‘Lixarte’ (which translates loosely to rubbish art), the initiative aims to raise awareness about the worrying amount of rubbish in our seas and beaches.
