RTA launches two publications

A NATURE map and walking guide for the Algarve have just been launched by the Algarve Tourism Board (RTA), representing an investment of 50,000 euros.

The Algarve nature map provides information about the region’s flora, fauna and important habitats for nature conservation at a national and regional level. There is also information about protected areas that form part of the Algarve’s nature reserves, as well as information about various open air activities, tourist spots, marinas, fishing ports and historical sites. This bilingual publication is offered in both Portuguese and English.

The walking guide contains 33 new routes and is aimed at people of all ages who want to get the most out of the Algarve, in terms of nature and culture. The guide, available in Portuguese and English, includes maps with walking routes clearly marked, set off and finishing points, length and duration details, as well as items of interest and advice on the best time of year to enjoy the walks.

Both publications are available at tourism information points.
