Over the years, Rotary Club Estoi Palace International (RCEPI) has distributed dictionaries and merit certificates to students at Escola Poeta Emiliano da Costa in Estoi.
In early December, merit certificates were given to the best three students of each grade from between the 5th and 9th grades. In addition, this year two certificates were given to students for their resilience and spirit of solidarity in adversity. Both girls will be going to a Summer Camp next year.
For the last eight years, a Portuguese/English and English/Portuguese dictionary was given to each of the 5th year students. Earlier in the academic year, 60 dictionaries were handed out by RCEPI President Christine Fay to 60 pupils to help them with their education.
