Members of the Rotary Club Estoi Palace international (RCEPI) visited their fellow Rotarians at the long-established Rotary Club of Gibraltar on December 1.
President of the Gibraltar Club, Raju Alwani, thanked the members of RCEPI for making the journey and joining their meeting at the Rock Hotel in Gibraltar.
After exchanging club banners, guest speaker, President of RCEPI Agnete Sylvan, gave details of the membership and activities of her club.
After the meeting, members of both clubs had dinner at a local Moroccan restaurant where a traditional dinner was served.
The following evening, the Gibraltar Rotary Club organised a Christmas bazaar complete with Father Christmas. The Rotary stall selling mulled wine and mince pies was very popular and all money raised was to be donated to local charities.
The Estoi Club members were able to join in the festivities and see how things are done, Gibraltar style.
There will be reciprocal visits in the future and development of opportunities to share social and project activities between the clubs.
