Members of the Almancil International Rotary Club (AIRC) raised more than 600 euros to pay for flight tickets for six children from the Casa da Primeira Infância Ludo-Rodas programme.
The programme arranges for children to visit Madeira on trips combining education and recreation and the money was raised by generous members who sent around a piggy bank after every Wednesday lunch meeting held at Couleur France Restaurant in Almancil.
