Along with family and friends in the tourist business, members of AIRC (Almancil International Rotary Club) recently organised three exciting days out for children and staff from the Lar Bom Samaritano children´s home in Alvor.
On September 5, a party of 10 young children and two members of staff had a day of fun at Aqualand and on September 7, a group of seven children and a member of staff spent an exciting day driving off-road searching for ‘tigers’ in Monchique on a Portitours Jeep Safari .
Ten children and two members of staff were treated to the water show at Aquashow on September 9.
AIRC would like to thank the three companies for their generosity and help in giving 27 children and five members of staff such a wonderful time.
The Lar Bom Samaritano children’s home receives abandoned, abused and neglected children and offers them support that aims to provide a stable and affectionate family home environment.
