A charity dinner is being hosted by the Rotary Club of Estoi Palace International at the Estoi Palace Pousada on November 20.
The very special guest of honour will be Dom Duarte Pio, Duke of Bragança, who will give a talk on Modern History of Portugal.
The Duke, a claimant to the throne of Portugal, is in a unique position to talk on this subject and is expected to be accompanied by his family. Other guests will include local dignitaries.
The event has been organised to provide funds to purchase environmental equipment to improve the auditorium at the Estoi Casa do Povo (Community Centre). The evening will include music by the Algarve Conservatory Orchestra conducted by Ricardo Carvalho and a special prize draw will be held.
The Rotary Club has developed a close relationship with the Estoi Casa do Povo and is delighted to be able to continue its support of the local community.
