Almancil || Rotary Club Estoi Palace International held a quiz night on October 31, raising €1,408 for its ongoing project to supplement the Food Bank with milk for the underprivileged families of Estoi.
To date the Rotary Club has delivered over 30,000 litres of milk to less fortunate families registered with the Faro Food Bank.
Twelve teams, with a total of 76 quizzers, competed in a good-natured but competitive contest to answer a wide range of international trivia questions.
Quiz master Shirley Dunne kept everyone on their toes with some additional fundraising items during the evening.
Virgílio and his team at A Floresta in Almancil were thanked for their “excellent service” as were the sponsors.
