The Rotary Club Estoi Palace International held a charity quiz night on Friday, October 28 at Jardim do Vale Restaurant in Almancil attended by 64 people.
Question master on the night was Shirley Dunne, who posed a series of challenging general knowledge questions.
The event raised funds for the club to be able to purchase and deliver more than 500 litres of milk a month for under-privileged families in Estoi Parish registered with Bancos Alimentares Contra a Fome (Food bank against Hunger).
The money raised (€1,242) will be enough to ensure that this initiative can continue for another six months.
The organisers are extremely grateful to all who took part and donated towards this cause, with special thanks to Em Caso de Emergencia, Jouk´s Fashion Studio, Casa Curiosa, PropDate and MAS Satellites and Maintenance.
