Rotary E-Club Porches International is again holding its annual Christmas Market at Galeria Arte Algarve in Lagoa on November 21 and 22.
This year’s market promises to be the biggest ever, according to organisers who announce that nearly 70 vendors are participating.
“You are sure to find everything you need for Christmas, from cards and wrapping paper, to decorations, gifts and food items,” they said.
There will be entertainment for all the family and Santa will be presenting gifts to local needy children at 4pm both days.
Visitors are then asked to take along a small gift and mark it clearly whether for a boy or a girl.
The Algarve Food Bank has been chosen as the beneficiary of the event, with proceeds used to purchase an electric forklift for the Portimão satellite warehouse.
The gallery is located within Lagoa’s historic winery along the EN125 and there is plenty of parking. The market is open Saturday from 11am to 7pm and Sunday from 11am to 5pm.
