To commemorate International Women’s Day, Almancil International Rotary Club will be hosting a celebration lunch at the Conrad Algarve Hotel in Quinta do Lago on Saturday, March 16.
The event will begin at 12 noon with a welcome drink followed by a three-course lunch including wine. There will be guest speakers together with fashions provided by BIOCO traditional capes by Lurdes Silva and Palmas Douradas accessories by Maria João Gomes. Entertainment will be provided by students from Conservatório do Algarve.
Proceeds from the event will be used for the benefit of APAV, the Portuguese association for victim support.
The association supports victims of all types of crime – mistreatment, sexual crimes and domestic violence. The services are free and confidential.
