English books have been donated by the Almancil International Rotary Club (AIRC) to children at the EB 2,3 School in Almancil.
More than 190 English language books were donated by AIRC members and their friends to help the school create an English language section in the school library to assist students studying English.
The books were taken to the school by president of the AIRC Soren Hojbjerg, he said: “We are very pleased to be associated with the school and hope to be able to help them again in the future.”
The director of the Agrupamento Vertical de Almancil, Dr Rui Filipe, thanked the president and the AIRC for their continued interest in helping the students at the school.
