Rotarians show off skills on the kart track

Almancil International Rotary Club (AIRC) held its annual handover dinner on June 25 with the outgoing president of the board Soren Hojbjerg handing over his presidency to the new president Keith Johnson and his board.

The ceremony was a traditional one excepting for the unusual venue of Almancil Karting which included several rounds of kart racing for members who demonstrated their skills on the track.

A handover dinner was then held at the venue with food provided by Paella Restaurant for the 60 members and guests, including Rotary Club members from Silves, Estoi, Loulé and Faro.
