Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr suffered a 4-1 defeat at the hands of SL Benfica yesterday evening at Estádio do Algarve, marking the second defeat in two matches since Ronaldo’s return to the team.
Ronaldo did have a flagrant scoring chance in the second half, but was denied by Benfica goalkeeper Samuel Soares from celebrating another goal at Estádio do Algarve, where he has scored many goals while representing Portugal.
The Saudi Arabian club had lost three days earlier against Celta de Vigo (5-0).
