After conquering the football world, Cristiano Ronaldo is now seemingly venturing into cinema.
International rumours suggest that Ronaldo will make a cameo appearance in a new Martin Scorsese film next year about Alessandro Proto, the Italian magnate who formerly owned Trump Towers in New York and is said to have inspired the character of Christian Grey in the hugely successful Fifty Shades of Grey book series.
The decision is reportedly a way of thanking CR7 for allowing Scorsese to shoot at his new New York loft at Trump Towers, which Ronaldo bought last month for around €16.6 million.
The Portuguese football star is apparently going to make an appearance in ‘The Manipulator’ alongside Brazilian model and Victoria’s Secret angel Alessandra Ambrosio and Channing Tatum. The film is slated to be out in theatres next year.
The news was originally reported by Spanish newspaper Sport and has since been picked up by national and international press. However, neither Ronaldo nor Scorsese have confirmed the information.
