A celebration of rock and roll will be taking place in Quarteira tonight (Friday) and tomorrow (Saturday) as part of the Quarteira Rock Fest 2011 festival.
The fourth edition of the festival will see American band The Fleshtones headlining the festival tomorrow evening while bands from Austria, Mexico and Portugal will also be participating in the festival which starts at 9pm and is taking place at the eastern end of Quarteira beach.
This year a warm up evening will be held tonight (Friday) in Bafo de Baco bar with a performance from
The Parkinsons.
Tickets for the warm up concert cost €8 with tickets for the main festival costing €10.
